Getting there from the Airports
The best way to get to Playa Langosta/Tamarindo is to fly into the Liberia International Airport where a 45 minute ride by bus or taxi service is easily available.
From San Jose, take one of the several daily domestic flights to Tamarindo Domestic Airport on either the Nature Air or SANSA airline. There are also daily scheduled buses, flexible taxi services, or car rental options - all of which are about a 5 - 6 hour trip.
Driving Directions: Liberia Airport to Langosta Beach
1. Turn right when you get to the main road
2. Shortly after passing through Filadelfia and Belen, make a right turn toward Tamarindo

After about 20 minutes, you will come to a cross-road town called Huacas. The signs will say to turn left to go to Tamarindo

After about 10 minutes, turn right following the Tamarindo sign in a cross road town called Villareal

Drive for about 4 minutes and you will be in Tamarindo Town
6. Pass the Diria Hotel, keep driving and turn left in the second non paved street after the hotel.

Drive for 1/4 mile and turn rigth in next cross-road
8.
Drive for 1 mile and turn rigth in next cross-road.
Congratulations! Now you are in Langosta Beach!
